Very few people realise the true impact the ISP industry has on the environment, the average server produces a significant amount of CO2 and it's likely that your website is hosted on a server which on average produces around 12½ Tonnes of CO2 each year!
What we do differently:
- We use LED Lights inside our Datacentre, LED offers high efficiency bulbs
- We use automatic light sensors, our lights turn off automatically if there is no one in that room
- We coordinate mechanical and electrical systems so they run at optimal efficiency
- We recycle our obsolete machines via a Computer recycling program
- Virtualization reduces our server electricity usage
- We always practice responsible disposal of packaging
